ORDER
The petitioner has preferred a complaint before the second respondent police against four persons and a case came to be registered in crime no.393 of 2018 for the alleged offences under sections 323, 355, 506(i), 379 IPC read with section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. It is contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that after registration of the case, the petitioner has approached the second respondent requesting to take necessary action on the complaint given by her but the respondent police have not initiated any action and no investigation has been conducted and hence, the present original petition is filed.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after registration of the FIR, the investigation has been conducted and now the case has been closed and the closure report has been filed before the concerned court. 3.The statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor regarding closure of the case and the filing of the closure report before the concerned court is recorded. In the light of the above, the petitioner is granted liberty to file a protest petition before the jurisdictional court concerned and the concerned court shall decide the same on its own merits and pass appropriate 2/4
orders in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed. No costs.
