The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission based on petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2017 to conduct the programme which is scheduled to be held on 04.07.2017 at Sri Dhrowpathi Amman Temple, situate at Paranam Village & Post, Ariyalur District.
2.Since the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is with regard to conducting the programme in the temple festival to be held on 04.07.2017, the relief sought for has become infructuous. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.In these circumstances, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. In the case of the petitioner postponing the temple festival from 04.07.2017 to some other date, it is open to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the respondent seeking for permission and in such an event, the respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law. No costs.
