Advocate (Crl. Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 427, 325, 506(2) of IPC r/w section 4 of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.195 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, as a result of which, the petitioner had attacked the defacto complainant and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, as a result of which, the petitioner had attacked the defacto complainant and caused injuries. He further submits that there are seven previous cases pending as against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the fact that there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
