Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to reduce the extent of 0.03 cents from patta No.614 issued in the name of 5th respondent for the property comprised in grama Natham S.No.714/16 for an extent of 0.07 cents situated at Arasakuppam Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue separate patta for 0.03 cents in the petitioner name by considering the petitioners representations dated 20.06.2024 and 15.09.2024 For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 20.06.2024 and 15.09.2024.

2. Mr.Senthamizh Selvan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed the representations dated 20.06.2024 and 15.09.2024 before

the respondents, requesting them to reduce the extent of 0.03 cents from patta No.614 issued in the name of 5th respondent for the property comprised in grama Natham S.No.714/16 for an extent of 0.07 cents situated at Arasakuppam Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District and issue separate patta for 0.03 cents in the petitioner's name. However, the said representations were not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 4 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 20.06.2024 and 15.09.2024 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
