This writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to de-seal the building put up at 16/2, Umperson Street in R.S. No.11426 of George Town, Chennai 600 001 to enable the petitioner to carry out the rectifications and remove the violations in the said building, by considering his representation.

This writ petition has been preferred after the property in question has been sealed. After the property is sealed, statutory appeal is maintainable. Even according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's appeal is pending consideration. Given the fact situation, as aforestated, we are not inclined to pass any order, at this stage. However, we direct the authorities to act in coordination and collaboration to take consequential action, as required under the provisions of law. Resultantly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
