ORDER
This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in the order dated 29.01.2026 in Crl.M.P.No.159 of 2026 in Crime No.12 of 2025 by the learned Judicial Magistrate - II, Erode, from two blood sureties to two local sureties or any other solvent sureties.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was enlarged on bail on 29.01.2026 on condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two blood sureties. He would further submit that in spite of the order dated 29.01.2026, the petitioner finds it difficult to get two blood sureties, whereas if the same is modified to one blood surety and one local surety, he may be in a position to avail the bail condition.
3. Though the learned Government Advocate would object the modification application, considering the totality of the circumstances of the case and upon the fact that the petitioner could not come out in spite of the bail granted by the Court below on 29.01.2026, this Court would like to modify the condition to the extent that instead of two blood sureties, the petitioner is permitted to release on bail with one blood surety and one local surety.
