ORDER

These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed by the petitioners to quash the FIRs in Crime Nos.99 of 2024 and 98 of 2024 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent police.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that earlier, this Court had referred this matter to mediation in other proceedings in C.R.P.No.2795, 849 and 848 of 2024 by order dated 12.08.2024. Before the mediation, amicable settlement was arrived between the parties who are non other than husband and wife whereby, they have agreed to withdraw all the pending complaints against each other and based on the settlement, this Court by order dated 23.09.2024, closed all the Civil Revision Petitions in C.R.P.No.2795, 849 and 848 of 2024. Hence, the learned counsel prayed to quash the FIRs registered against the parties in Crime Nos.99 of 2024 and 98 of 2024.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the order passed by this Court in C.R.P.No.2795, 849 and 848 of 2024 dated 23.09.2024, the FIRs registered against the petitioners in Crime Nos.99 of 2024 and 98 of 2024 dated 02.04.2024, on the file of the first respondent police, are hereby quashed.
