This Court vide order dated 21.08.2020 directed the applicant/plaintiff to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- in the Court as security on or before 04.09.2020. However, the plaintiff could not draw the demand draft for the said amount before the said date. The demand draft drawn on HDFC bank for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- in the name of the Registrar General, Madras High Court dated 08.09.2020 is now sought to be deposited by granting extension time.

2. Considering the reason stated in the affidavit, time for payment of Rs.5,00,000/- is extended by 7 days from today. The applicant/plaintiff is directed to take fresh demand draft for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- in favour of the Registrar General, Madras High Court and submit the same to the Registry. Accordingly, the application is ordered.
