This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the Respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the respondents 5 and 6 on the basis of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 25.09.2023 for the gross financial irregularities, misappropriation and misuse of panchayat funds in respect of Old Karuvachi Panchayat, Vikravandi Taluk,Villupuram district.

2. Heard and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 6 and 7 herein and conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the

petitioner and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
