O R D E R

The present petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.1837 of 2014 pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. A complaint was lodged by the second respondent alleging that the petitioner herein, who was running a chit business, insisted her to join the chit and hence, she joined the chit and paid a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-, but, subsequently, the petitioner, without returning the maturity amount, cheated her.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the allegations made against the petitioner are false.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the first respondent submitted that the investigation is still under progress.

6. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that this petition is premature in nature and hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the first information report. Hence, this petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court after the filing of the final report.Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
