The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register a case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 13.09.2013 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against her husband and in-laws. The main allegation of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband is having an illegal intimacy with another women. Though the said complaint was given on 13.09.2013, till date no action was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and since the allegation made in the complaint does not reveal any cognizable offence, the same was closed.

4. Since the complaint has already been closed, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
