O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the punishment of warning issued to the writ petitioner in proceedings dated 31.05.2016 and the consequential order passed on the same day are under challenge in this writ petition. However, the writ petitioner continued as Head of the Department and retired from service on 31.05.2018 on attaining the age of superannuation. Thus, the cause aroused for moving the present writ petition became vanished.

2.Thus, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
