Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order of the respondent passed in X/K/M3/1180/2018, dated 10.05.2018, and quash the same and consequently directing the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the bona fide purchase of punjai lands comprised in S.Nos.205/3, with an extent of 1 acre and 28 cent and 215/7 with an extent of 1 acre and 17 cents situate in 154 Anappathur Village in Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition to issue a direction directing the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner, who has purchased the property in Survey Nos.205/3 with an extent of 1 acre and 28 cents and 215/7 with an extent of 1 acre and 17 cents situate in 154 Anappathur Village in Cheyyar Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. 2.The petitioner has filed a petition to have mutation in his patta for the said land. The Tahsildar has rejected the same on 10.05.2018 stating that the mutation cannot be done because a dispute is pending before the Court and hence, rejected the claim of the petitioner.
