The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 17.10.2015 in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Chittibabu on the allegation of land grabbing. Though C.S.R.No.1253 of 2015 has been assigned on 17.10.2015, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. In view of the submissions made by the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.10.2015 in C.S.R.No.1253 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law.
