The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 05.09.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Ram Mohan, who is the Senior Manager of Indina Overseas Bank, Reddiarpalayam, Puducherry on the allegation that he has received a cheque and misused the same in favour of one Aroun Egg Centre, Chennai. Though the said complaint was registered on 05.09.2015, till date no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondent.

4. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct enquiry and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
