ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that a civil dispute is pending between the petitioner and the complainant/Saraswathi. Both are close relatives and they succeeded the property as legalheirs of one Venkatamma. For this, a civil dispute in O.S.No.286 of 2021, is pending before the Principal Subordinate Court, Hosur. Suppressing the same, the Saraswathi lodged a complaint and the petitioner is called for enquiry.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner had called for enquiry in CSR No.125 of 2021 and the same was closed on 08.07.2021. He further submitted that it is purely a property dispute and the respondent police have no role to play in a case of this nature and the parties to approach the civil court. He further submitted that the petitioners are not called for enquiry.

Recording the same, this criminal original petition is closed.
