The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to register the case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.10.2015.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the counter petitioner has received a sum of Rs.9,75,000/- from the petitioner on a promise to arrange loan to the petitioner. Subsequently, he neither arranged loan nor returned the money. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 12.10.2015. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed. 3.

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed advising the parties to approach the civil court. He has also produced the closure report for perusal of this Court.

4. Since the complaint given by the petitioner was enquired and closed, nothing survives in this petition. Therefore, the petition is dismissed and the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if he so desires.
