(The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to survey the property by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2021.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, she is the owner of property comprised in Survey No.540/1, situate at Ponneri-II Village, Thiruvallur District and the property has been settled in her favour by her father one Krishnan, and now, she is in possession and enjoyment of the same. Thereafter, she has submitted an application to the respondent requesting to survey her properties and remove illegal encroachment from her property on 30.06.2021, for which, she has paid necessary fees. action has been taken on her application, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's application and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner as well as rival claimants, if any within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
