The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and also made an endorsement to that effect.

2.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions would contend that the trial is completed and the case is posted for pronouncing judgment and that the present petitioner is not appearing before the Mahila Court, City Civil Court, Chennai.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the petitioner is directed to appear before the concerned Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
