ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 20.05.2020, wherein the petitioners has sought for issuance of patta with respect to the subject properties.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice on behalf of respondents, based on written instructions, submitted that the 6th respondent has fixed the date of enquiry on 13.10.2020 at 11.00 a.m. The learned counsel for the petitioners can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents. 3.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 6th respondent has already issued summons for conducting an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 6th respondent to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
