O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No. 217 of 2015 within the stipulated period.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has preferred a complaint before the respondent police as against one Dhanasekaran, Son of Kumarasamy, Alli Vaslagam, Sirkali, who is the proprietor of Sakthi Muruvan Lorry Shed at Sattanathapauram, Sirkali. The said complaint was registered under Section 420 of IPC in Crime No.217 of 2015. Though the said complaint was registered as against them on 21.03.2015, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent to conduct enquiry and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
