This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottriyur to dispose of the proceedings in STC.No.3771 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The petitioner had filed a complaint against the respondent before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottriyur and the same was taken on file in STC.No.3771 of 2018. Since the same has not been considered by the said Court, the petitioner filed this petition.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottriyur, is directed to dispose of the proceedings in STC.No.3771 of 2018, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
