Mr.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor assisted by Mr.M.Sylvester John, learned counsel who accepts notice for the respondents states that pending this Writ Petition, the representation of the petitioner seeking transfer of Savan, S/o.Ignasappa (convict) from Salem Central Prison to Parapana Agrahara Central Prison, at Bangalore has been rejected by the authorities at Karnataka vide order dated 29.09.2025, communicated by the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison, Salem vide communication dated 01.04.2026.
2. Though learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that the same has been served on the convict and his family, a copy of the same is handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner as well for onward transmission to the convict/petitioner for taking necessary action, if they so desire.
3. Recording the aforesaid and with this liberty, this Writ Petition is closed.
