O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register a case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 27.10.2015 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. In the petition, it has been stated that one Murugesan, Nagesh, Govindasamy, and Chitharaj came to the petitioner's house and threatened the petitioner with dire consequences with regard to a land dispute. Though the said complaint was lodged on 27.10.2015, till date no action was taken. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.219 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made by the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 27.10.2015 in C.S.R.No.219 of 2015 and proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
