ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action relating to the land acquisition proceedings in Alangudi Village, Valangaiman Taluk Thiruvarur Distirct under State Highways No.66, Kumbakonam, Mannargudi Highway Extension Scheme and pay compensation to the petitioner only with respect to the superstructure by considering his representation dated 24.03.2023 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. It is seen from the sketch that has been produced before this Court that only an extent of 3 square meters, that is, the portion abutting the main building, has been taken and the respondents are willing to pay compensation for the same.

4. The learned counsel counsel for the petitioner has no grievance in this regard.

5. Recording the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
