W.P.No.9509 of 1999 : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the Order No.R.XIII-5/99-ADM.I dated 26.05.1999 passed by the fourth Respondent, quash the same and direct the Respondents to take the petitioner into the strength of the CRPF with all monetary benefits.

JUDGMENT
(Delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The learned Assistant Solicitor General has placed before us a communication received by him from the Central Reserve Police Force to the effect that the competent authority has accorded approval in terms of what has been observed in the order dated 21.9.2016 for reconsideration of the quantum of punishment and giving financial benefits to the appellant, for which reasoned and speaking order is being issued by the Head of the Department shortly.
2. The learned Assistant Solicitor General states that the order will be issued within a maximum period of three weeks from today.
3. In view of the aforesaid, the appeal stands closed recording the aforesaid position and to that extent the impugned order would stand modified. No costs.
