ORDER

Heard Mr.K.A.Mariappan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondents 1 and 2 to consider his representation dated 16.12.2014 and to initiate action against the 3rd respondent.

3. Admittedly, the petitioner has already filed a complaint before the respondent police and since no action was taken, he approached this Court and filed Criminal Original Petition No.3705 of 2014, in which direction has been issued by this Court on 04.03.2014 and pursuant to the said direction, a case has been registered in Crime No.266 of 2014 for the alleged offence under Sections 468, 471, 120 (b), 294 (b) and 506 (ii) IPC. direction to consider the representation dated 16.12.2014 to initiate action against the third respondent under Goondas Act and confine him in prison.

4. Since already criminal complaint has been given and the same is pending investigation, at this juncture, no direction as sought for can be granted. However, the police, who registered the case, namely, the Inspector of Police, Kondalampatti police station, Salem District, shall investigate the case and file final report as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
