With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is fi1ed to direct the respondent herein to 1/4

dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2023 seeking to survey the petitioner property situated at Mukuntagiri Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpet District in Survey No.10/lA comprised in patta No.297 and mutate the patta in the name of the petitioner.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property situated at Mukuntagiri Village, Clieyyur Talulc, Chengalpet District in Survey No.10/1/A comprised in Survey No.297. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given a representation dated 20.07.2023, the respondent has not taken any steps to survey the land of the petitioner and to mutate patta in the name of the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2023 and pass appropriate Orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
