Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life of employees, Trustees and properties of the Institutions run by "Amala Educational Trust" situated at Morasapatti Village, Edapaddi Taluk, Salem District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2019.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to provide Police protection based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 03.05.2019.
2.Mr.A.Raghunathan, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner Trust is running an Educational Institution. One Arjunan had attempted to interfere with the affairs of the Trust and he had also filed a suit for permanent Injunction in O.S.No.179 of 2010 before the learned Subordinate Judge, Sankari against the Trust and the suit itself came to be dismissed on 18.02.2019. Inspite of the same, the said Arjunan along with some other persons is continuously interfering with the running of the Educational Institution and thereby, causing hindrance to the students, teachers and general public, who come to the Educational Institution.

3.The learned Senior Counsel further submitted that the said Arjunan along with his men went to the extent of entering into the Educational Institution and also started consuming liquor within the premises and had also threatened everyone with dire consequences. They are also stay-put at the cycle stand and are regularly threatening the employees and other women staff, who are coming to the Educational Institution.
4.The petitioner gave a representation to the respondent Police seeking for Police protection and for taking action against the said Arjunan and others. Inspite of the receipt of the representation, no action has been taken till date and therefore, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed before this Court.
5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents/Police submitted that the respondent will take appropriate action based on representation/compliant given by the petitioner, in accordance with law. 6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the 3rd respondent to immediately take action on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.05.2019 and call the parties for an enquiry. If required, the 3rd respondent shall also provide Police protection to the Educational Institution and the Trust.
