O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.09.2017, thereby requesting the respondent to consider his case for promotion as Shop Supervisor from Shop Salesman.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. 3.

At the outset, though it is stated by the petitioner in his affidavit filed in support of the petition that he has rendered 14 years of service as a Salesman in the respondent Corporation and subsequently, he has acquired B.A. Degree, which is, according to the petitioner, a requisite qualification for promotion to the post of Shop Supervisor, he has failed to file any rule prescribing the requisite qualification for the promotional post of Shop Supervisor. Hence, on that ground itself, the Writ Petition is not at all entertainable by this Court.

In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed as not entertainable. No costs.
