This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 25.07.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard Mr.V.Manikandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the complaint dated 25.07.2020, lodged by the petitioner on the file of the 2nd respondent is pending and the petitioner is constrained to file a private complaint before the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Sriperumbudur. On receipt of the same, the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Magistrate, Sriperumbudur in Crl.M.P.No. No.970 of 2020, by an order dated 27.08.2020, directed the 2nd respondent police to investigate the case in accordance with law and to submit the report immediately. Even after a specific direction issued to the 2nd respondent, by the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur, the 2nd respondent till date did not register any F.I.R., on the basis of the petitioner's compliant dated 25.07.2020.

In view of the above submission, the 2nd respondent police is directed to register the F.I.R., as against the counter party, as directed by the learned District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate in Crl.M.P.No.970 of 2020 by order dated 27.08.2020, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
