ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to alter the FIR in Crime No.372 of 2016 by inclusion of Sections 307, 448, 389 and 509 IPC r/w Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.372 of 2016 came to be registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506 (i) IPC, which were subsequently, altered into one under Sections 294(b), 448, 324, 384, 506(ii) IPC r/w Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act.

3. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
