Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent herein namely the Inspector of Police, Vaniyambadi Taluk Police Station, Thirupathur District to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.14 of 2018 before the concerned Court within time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein namely the Inspector of Police, Vaniyambadi Taluk Police Station, Thirupathur District to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.14 of 2018 before the concerned Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.14 of 2018, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of one month.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
