ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant patta for the 3 acres of Punjai land at Kayar Village in Survey No. 1092/2A allotted to the petitioner in the year 2012.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the subject land, to the extent of 3 Acres, was allotted to the petitioner under the category of Ex-Service man. The petitioner is carrying on agricultural activities in the subject land for more than 14 years. Thus, he filed a representation dated 25.09.2023 before the respondent, requesting for issuance of patta. However, no patta was issued till date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and necessary orders will be passed at the earliest.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In the case on hand, the subject land was allotted to the petitioner under the category of ex-service man and the petitioner is utilising the said land for

the cultivation purpose for a period of more than 14 years. However, no patta was issued till date.

6. In view of the above, it is clear that the petitioner is certainly entitled for patta and there is no impediment for the respondents in issuing the same. In such case, this Court directs the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner, based on representation dated 25.09.2023, on or before 10.06.2026.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
