ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 6th respondent / Superintendent of Central Prison-II, Puzhal to permit or admit the petitioner's husband at any Super Specialty Hospital, preferably at Soundara Pandian Bone and Joint Hospital, Anna Nagar, Chennai for further better treatment expeditiously at the cost of the petitioner failing which he will become permanently handicapped.

2. It is seen from the records that the husband of the petitioner has been in continuous treatment right from December 2018 onwards when orders were passed by this Court in HCP.No.3001 of 2018. It is brought to the notice of this Court that since he required specialized treatment, he had been shifted to the Government Omanthurar Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

3. This Court does not find any ground to permit the petitioner's husband to take treatment in private hospital, since he has already been provided with sufficient treatment in a specialty hospital namely Government Omanthurar Medical

College and Hospital. For the last seven months the petitioner's husband has been given treatment and therefore this Court is not inclined to accede to the request made by the petitioner in the writ petition.

4. In the result, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-VIII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar ssr To
