..... Respondents PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to fix my pension as per the revised pay scale pursuant to the G.O.Ms.No.325 dated 22.07.2013, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, with effect from the date of my retirement viz., 31.05.2016 to till date and to pay the arrears pursuant to my representation dated 31.03.2018.

***** For Petitioner : Mr. Balanharidas For Respondents : Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar Standing Counsel

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner in this case is that though he has made a representation dated 31.03.2018 to the 1st respondent to revise his pension as per the revised pay scale pursuant to the G.O.Ms.No.325 dated 22.07.2013, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, with effect from the date of his retirement viz., 31.05.2016. But no decision on the same having been taken, he has come to this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to take an informed and considered decision on such representation of the petitioner.

2. Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar, learned Standing Counsel would submit that the 1st respondent has no objection to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner.

3. Hence, considering the limited nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, so also, the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court dispose of this writ petition at the stage of admission without seeking any reply affidavit, with a direction to the 1st respondent to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has expressed no opinion on the merits of such representation in any particular manner. No costs. rka 20.09.2018 Speaking/Non speaking order Index : yes/no Internet: Yes/no To
