O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to credit the award amount in the petitioner's / claimant's bank account as early as possible.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is apparent from the materials available on record that, already the petitioner has filed a Writ petition before this Court in W.P.No.11555 of 2021, seeking direction to the respondents to disburse the award amount of Rs.76,24,918/- together with interest at the rate of 15% from the date of 4th respondent's letter dated 18.11.2020 up to the date of disbursement of the total award amount and this Court, vide order dated 22.10.2021, granted the prayer sought for by the petitioner and directed the 2nd respondent to disburse the award amount within a period of six weeks, and, till date, the said order of this Court was not complied with by the respondents. In such circumstances, though the course open to the petitioner is to file a Contempt petition before this Court, however, without filing a Contempt petition, once again filing a Writ petition with the similar prayer cannot be acceded to.
3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate Contempt petition for non-compliance of the order dated 22.10.2021. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar skt To 1.
