O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3, to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's property situated at Ka.Sa.Pu.No.566, Kalai, Kaniyur Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

instructions submitted that the underground cable laying work had already been completed and only a small portion of work is pending. They further submitted that the fourth respondent filed a suit in O.S.No.905 of 2017 against the petitioner herein before the District Munsif Court, Sulur, which was set exparte and an application to set aside the same has been filed by the writ petitioner before the District Munsif Court, Sulur. The said application was also dismissed and the suit is posted for exparte evidence.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's property situated at Ka.Sa.Pu.No.566, Kalai, Kaniyur Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District, pending disposal of the suit in O.S.No.905 of 2017 on the file of the District Munsif, Sulur.
