The petition has been filed by the respondent wife seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.72 of 2020 pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Villupuram, which is filed by her husband for divorce, to the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee.

2. The reasons for seeking the transfer was on account of the fact that the petitioner is working at Kancheepuram and she cannot travel alone to Villupuram to attend every hearing. The petitioner would further submit that her parents are aged and sick and she has no one to accompany her to Villupuram.

3. The respondent though served has not entered appearance.

4. Heard the learned counsel and perused the records.

5. Considering the reasons given and the fact that the wife is residing within the Jurisdiction of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee, this Court is of the considered view that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the request for transfer should be allowed.

6. Accordingly, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and H.M.O.P.No.72 of 2020, pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Villupuram is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
