ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents-Police to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 23.10.2015 and file a final report within a time limit.
2.The petitioner lodged a complaint against one Selvam, Siva and others, stating that the said persons frequently threatening the petitioner and his family members and they are forcing the petitioner to sell his agricultural land comprised in S.No.136/4B, Old S.No.31/3E, New S.No.31/3I situated at Katteri Madura Village. Since no action was taken by the respondents-Police, on the petitioner's complaint, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court. 3.Heard both sides. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was sent by the petitioner only by post. If a fresh complaint is given by the petitioner, necessary action will be taken by the respondents-Police.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint to the 2nd respondent-Police, along with a copy of this order, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such complaint, the 2nd respondentPolice is directed to enquire into the matter and if any cognizable offence is made out, the 2nd respondent-Police is directed to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.
With the above direction, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
