ORDER

This petition has filed by the defacto complainant to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.3 of 2018 at early.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that only as per the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.20042 of 2017, the respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No.3 of 2018 on 06.02.2018 under Sections 498 (A) IPC and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, but, thereafter, no steps have been taken for completing the investigation and hence, he requests to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report at early.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after registering the case, the matter has been taken up for investigation and the investigation is in progress. She further submitted that four weeks time may be granted for filing final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file final report https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of .
