By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner would state that she has retired from service as Post Graduate Teacher on 30.6.2013, on attaining the age of superannuation, and her grievance is that though she is entitled to continue in employment till the completion of the academic year, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.249, Education Department, dated 9.2.1959, it has not been given and in this regard, she has submitted a representation dated 3.7.2015, praying for sanction of monetary benefits on account of non-extension of period of employment and also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
for incentive increment from the year 2008 onwards and though it was received and acknowledged by the respondents, she is yet to be favoured with any response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. 4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 3.7.2015, in accordance with law and pass orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
