This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 15.07.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, on the complaint given by one Nagammal, police have registered a case in Crime No.354 of 2016 for offences under Section 294b, 506[i], 420 IPC and Section 4 of Woman Harassment Act against six accused including this petitioner, who has been arrayed as A2, in respect of the said incident that took place on 29.06.2016. Now, this petitioner has given the present complaint as a counter blast for the case registered against him. However, the 2nd respondent police are conducting enquiry in CSR No.233 of 2016.

4. Recording the same, the 2nd respondent police is directed to expedite the enquiry in CSR.No.233 of 2016 and take action in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
