This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction for further investigation in Cr. No.3917 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent police.

2. Today a status report is filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Guduvanchery Range, Tambaram Commissionerate. The status report would show that the predominant part of investigation has already been over and it is possible for the second respondent to file charge sheet as early as possible.

3. Since the grievance of the petitioner is just to expedite the investigation, I feel that it is appropriate to give a direction to the second respondent for speedy investigation.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of 2/4

with a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
