Mr.B.Anandan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for R1. Mr.V.Anandamoorthy, learned standing counsel takes notice for R2. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner claiming to be a physically challenged person and working as a teacher in the Government Primary School, Chennai, is seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to allot one house at Thadandar Nagar, Saidapet, by considering his representation dated 10.05.2017.

3. The learned counsel for the first respondent / Tamil Nadu Housing Board submitted that the request for allotment has to be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

made only to the Government of Tamil Nadu, not to the Tamil Nadu Housing Board. Therefore, he submitted that it is for the petitioner to approach the Government of Tamil Nadu, by making appropriate application.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will make such application before the concerned authorities of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

5. Granting such liberty, this writ petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
