Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus seeking an order directing the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.36,55,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty six crores and fifty five lakhs only) to the petitioner forthwith, being amounts outstanding towards interest on delayed payments due and payable to the

petitioner pursuant to the power supplied by the petitioner to the respondent TANGEDCO as per the Power Purchase Agreement dated 12.12.2013 along with applicable interest pendent-lite and up till the date of realisation on the amount of Rs.36,55,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Six crores and fifty five lakhs only) being the sums admitted to be due and payable.
