..Respondents PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 10.01.2018 and 10.04.2018 to review the order of suspension passed against the petitioner by the 3rd respondent in proceedings No.5831/PO.1/2017 dated 24.05.2017 and to reinstate the petitioner into service with all consequential benefits and other attendant benefits.

The grievance of the petitioner is that non consideration of his representation against the order of suspension which has made for an indeterminative period and hence, he has come to file this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner to review the order of suspension passed by the 3rd respondent vide proceedings No.5831/PO.1/2017 dated 24.05.2017.

This Court heard the submission of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on the question of admission, so also, Mrs.Thangavadhana Balakrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

Considering the limited nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court dispose of this writ petition at the stage of admission without seeking any reply affidavit, with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.04.2018 with regard to review of the order of suspension in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. However, it is made clear that this Court has expressed no opinion on the merits of such representation submitted by the petitioner in any particular manner. No costs.
