O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family on the basis of his representation/complaint dated 22.04.2019.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, since the petitioner informed to the police and other authorities about the smuggling of sand, he is facing threatening from so many persons and hence, he gave a representation before the police seeking protection, but the police did not give protection to him.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has submitted that, based on the representation given by the petitioner, C.S.R. No.441 of 2019 has been given and thereafter, the petitioner did not co-operate for the enquiry and hence, the said C.S.R. was closed and hence, he opposed the petition.

4.Considering the fact that the petitioner did not cooperate for the enquiry in C.S.R. No.441 of 2019, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
