O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the proceedings issued by the respondent dated 21.8.2015, wherein the respondent has requested the petitioner to produce certain documents to enable him to get electricity service connection for the petitioner's building situated in S.Nos.144 and 145, Bharathiyar Street, Tellus Avenue, Annai Indra Gandhi Street Extension - 1, Rajeakeelpakkam, Madras - 73. .

2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner will produce the documents sought for by the respondent, provided he is granted some reasonable time.

3. The documents called for by the respondent are documents to establish that the petitioner is in lawful possession of the premises for which the service connection is sought for and on such production of documents he is entitled to get service connection. Therefore, the question of challenging the impugned proceedings does not arise.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is granted eight weeks time from the date of receipt of copy of this order to produce documents called for by the respondent. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
