O R D E R

Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Since this writ petition is being disposed of without affecting the interest of the 4th respondent, notice to the said respondent is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by her on 12.07.2017 arising against the order passed by the 3rd respondent in respect of patta proceedings.

3. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter as it is for the 2nd respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of only by directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the said appeal on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent. Such exercise shall be done by the 2nd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
